This unit I quieter than a window unit. It is portable such that it has wheels & can easily move to a different room. This unit is heavy so I would recommend moving it up & down stairs. I have this set up in our dining room & it keeps that room along with our living room cool.

This one comes out of the box ready to use, with more than enough attachments to fit any space

Good and heavy

Much heavier than I expected for the label "portable." I won't be moving it up and down stairs without a dolly. It rolls well on the carpet though.

A/C does what is promised

For example if your home layout is open and you can see in the dinning room from the living room and can't close any door then this ac may not cool your room unless your home is very well insulated. The ac will bring the hot temperature down in a large open area but it won't actually ever feel cool. The ac is as loud as any other ac. The huge benefit is that its portable so we just move it from room to room. Works for us bc we have a window unit in the large open area so I would suggest using a less expensive window unit and this ac in other rooms. Honestly, if I hadn't paid $316 total with taxes included then I'd have to give it 4 stars. Even though I really love this ac it doesn't seem worth the listed price of $369. Use a BTU room calculator before your purchase. Remember if your home isn't insulated then no ac will really cool your home.

The remote is a bit finicky but if you click the power button enough times it’ll update your preferences from your controller to the unit. Overall not a bad purchase.

It normally runs about 10 degrees warmer than the rest of the house. This AC got it down to a much more manageable temp and isn't as noticeable from the front as a window unit would be. Only took about a half hour to 45 minutes to set up by myself.
