Works great makes my room cold in a good way so im very happy with my purchase

Love this portable ac! The house I live in is kept at 80-85°F and windows are left open during the day by the homeowner on hot days while they are home. This portable Ac unit allows me to stay cool and keep my room in the 70°F range as I already run very hot. I love the energy saving, follow me, and sleep modes. Set up was fairly easy, but needed additional pegs as i have a tall horizantal shut window and needed to use all included panels for the window vent.

I tend to see the same reviews for these air conditioners; typically complaining about them not doing a good job at cooling a room and noise level. I expected both of these aspects to not be perfect, so I was initially critical anyway. It does a great job of cooling my living room and the noise level is as I anticipated.

Quiet and effective. It did the job perfectly. I was impressed.

I bought it for my bedroom, the ac in our house is a bit on the ancient side, it still works... subjectively speaking. So this addition helps keep my room cold compared to oven hot when I get home from work. simple control scheme, easy installation and also works as a dehumidifier!

I have had this air conditioner for sometime now and I can say that it’s definitely worth the price you pay for it. You can get a lot of expensive air conditioning units and probably get the same performance as this budget option. I use this air conditioner to cool at 300 square-foot upstairs open living space.

we keep this on 24/7 to keep our kid's playroom cool since it's connected to the attic. it's a work horse and runs like a champ.

Works great!! My teenager wanted this for his room updstairs and he was able to set it up easily. Doesn't have a pan you have to dump so easy to take care of. Cools the bedroom down perfectly.

Very heavy. Took hours to install. Needed a tool not included to alter and install correctly. Noisy. Cooled room slightly then heated up from the hose warmth. Need to have lower windows for hose to reach. Takes up alot of space. Leaked immensely when picked up to move.

Easy to use once installed. Makes HUGE difference in whole house temperature during 90 plus degree weather. Says it works in 400 square foot room- my front room space is over 630 feet! Rest of house is bearable cuz frontbroom is cool.

In the tough time, dead of summer when my AC was getting replaced, I needed a portable system to keep my apartment cool. While this only is good for one room, it kept the room very comfortable and the accessibility of it is not insanely difficult. It’s slightly annoying keeping the tube and sliding panels perfectly in the window, but they don’t fall out even when they lean forward and I wasn’t going to cut the panels like it suggests because once you cut it, you can’t undo it. But the job got done and it sits in a corner nicely undone.

I purchased 2 for my children's rooms. They work wonders, both rooms are 12x14 ft. I wish the remotes werent IR but I can deal with it. It has a fairly large footprint for floor space due to the hose but can be folded smaller which was a nice surprise. I have only used the cool and fan features, both work great!

This is the best portable air conditioner I’ve ever used. Easy and efficient. Cools quickly and efficiently without having to worry about adjusting it much.

The Insignia Portable Air Conditioner was a good purchase for us. Living in Huntington Beach, we use a product like this for a few weeks out of the year. It's just enough to cool the inside air of our bedroom. Setup was easy.

This was an open box product, so we got a big discount. Seems colder than our other one.

Phenomenal product works great , just wished it had a longer hose for the water to leak out.

Nice product if you’re in a pinch. Just wish the window vent could be more secure without having to tape it to the jam. And if you want to move the unit for the offseason, there’s no cover for the exhaust hole so you have to makeshift one out of cardboard.
