Great, super powerful. Best portable ac I’ve bought 3 and gave 2 to my mother. Plan on buying a small one for my bedroom.

This small portable unit does a pretty good job of cooling of 1-2 rooms. Easy to set up. Biggest hassle is just the exhaust that goes out of a window. Would recommend to others.

To be honest, I wanted to like this unit more. Comparing this to similar units, it does a decent job cooling the air, but it does not get as cold as other units I have. The temp only pushes down to 62 degrees vs 60 on other units, and the "swing" function does nothing at all to deflect the air, it really just blows the air up. Overall, it works, I just wish it worked a little better. Blows more air than my old 5K window AC, but the 5K unit blew colder air.

Works very well cools 2 rooms in upstairs area of home.

Purchased for cooling one bedroom furtherest from the home central A/C system that has never been as cool as the rest of the house. Figured cooling just the one room was more cost effective then running the central a/c system and making the entire house colder. After two months of use in South Florida summer heat it has worked great. Cooling the mid size bedroom for comfortable sleeping for my son with no noticeable change in the electric bill.

Easy installation, use, and effective operation have made this AC unit a solid purchase.

The unit itself works great. To properly vent it out of our casement window, we had to buy a longer coiled tube plus connector and a custom fabric venting kit (which we are now going to replace with a piece of plastic we have to custom cut). Insignia does not offer any spare/extension parts so we had to guess on Amazon- we could not get a connector that fit properly and had to duct tape it onto the back of the unit which leaked at first but now works fine. Buying the unit is easy peasy w/ curbside pickup- it's getting it to vent w/ our window that has been so much work- but that is the case for any portable a/c unit you buy.

Performs like a champ. Kept us cool during this past summer in NYC. Minimal water resoiver changes. Evaporates the water extremely effectively. And honestly keeps us cool when the project heat kicks in. Iykyk

This unit is really helpful when it comes to an emergency, my AC unit went out and ai bought this portable AC in the mean time, now I feel like buying another one, it keeps a good large area cool, I recommend this item.

I'm using this in my shed/shop area. For the price it seems solid. It blows cold. The shed is not insulated and is 10'x16' with a high valted ceiling. In spring it will keep you cool no problem. In summer it does ok but once the humidity gets high and its 90+ out its cant do it. Being that the shed is not insulated, what can you expect?. It will take the edge off in that 90+ so I can tell its doing what it should and works properly. I'll bet in an insulated room of the same size it would make you freeze.

Works well but it’s loud . The turning On and off when the temp is reached is loud and kind of annoying but gets the job done. It’s a powerful worth the money AC unit

My home central air unit bit the dust so I decided to purchase this unit originally for the master bedroom. Ultimately i ended up putting this little unit to the test by using it in the living room. This little unit cooled the whole house, so 350 square ft is definitely an understatement!
