    Provides very cool air and when in closed space. Otherwise, I suspect a larger unit is needed to provide full coverage of 350 sq ft. If possible, try to find a less noisy unit.

    Kept our main living area nice and cool, easy to adjust, I would rather have a few of these than central air. Central air now fixed but we just kept using this for the rest of the summer.

    I previously had a Frigidaire portable unit in my bedroom, and it never could quite keep up with the summer heat. It also didn't seem to dehumidify the air quite enough. I just thought portables were like that. Well, it broke after 2 years, so I bought this model, and it works GREAT! It cools, dehumidifies, and more than keeps up with the heat! I would have given 5 starts, except I find the remote control a bit confusing. Example - the temp setting on the remote doesn't sync with the setting on the unit. But that is a small complaint compared to how happy I am overall!

    For you Nor-Cal folks, especially in the east bay, and the sun hits your room all day, this will cool it down..it takes about 30 mins to an hour and half to cool down..I have carpet, so my home gets really hot during the afternoon and my room is on the second floor, so heat rises making my room uncomfortable ..but this helped a lot..if it’s 90 degrees, the Machine cools it down to 70-74, if it’s 72 it drops down to 57 or so..love it, only thing that I don’t care for is draining it every 12 hours but it’s worth it.
