The remote control seems to be the primary method of adjusting temperature, timer, etc. Wasn't a fan of the hose set up. Doesn't align flush to the window.

At 70lbs its a bit larger and heavier than i thought but works very well for the price. Good value. Seems to be a bit louder when ac pump turns on. But fan is quiet. Remote is handy.

We bought a humidifier that we run at night at the same time. It seems to be helping.

Works well… for ONE summer.

We’re now most of the way through our second summer of using this in our bedroom, and it is probably working at 60-70% capacity as last summer. I imagine it will be even less next summer. The swinging fan vent creaks and pops and it doesn’t cool as quickly or as well as last year. At this price point, it is unaffordable to replace every 2-3 years, so we’re going to try out a GE model and see how it compares.

Definitely probably would do best in a very open area that is ventilated. Also would definitely hook up to the dehumidifier attachment and drain it.

No more trying to balance in an open window. Took less than 10 minutes to hook up! Lots of options to get your perfect setting. It is also a dehumidifier and heater! Don't hesitate.
