I have it to the lowest setting possible, blowing out the max air and the heat outside overpowers the cooling air of this air conditioner. Doesn't help that I live upstairs though. Shouldn't matter. My livingroom is less than 350 Square feet as well.

This will be better for a home with airconditioning already with woomes you wish to keep diff temps than the rest of the house.
