I think it would work fine in a smaller room but just make sure to pay attention to the new btu standard and NOT Ashrae.

It says it’s for max 250! The day before I returned it, it began to leak as I slightly tilted it to move the cord. Apparently these aren’t very good, and the ones with dual hoses with an inbuilt inverter are best.

I don’t see much of a change in the rooms we use it in. We still have to run our fans in accordance with the system. Also, make sure that you have windows that match the accessories.

I purchased two a little less than a year and they both already gave out. They just stopped cooling all of a sudden even after keeping up with cleaning the filter and draining. Supposedly they have a one year manufacturer warranty but they never want to do anything about it. They just say sorry I cant do anything about it. Don't waste your time and money on these they're not worth it.

The room is 300 sq ft it never cooled down enough to get comfortable enough to sleep well. we live an hour from the nearest store and were unable to return in time so I have a so-so portable a/c unit.
