So far it has been a great purchase. We are using the HDMI connection and the text is clear and easy to read, picture and sound are very good. Overall we are very satisfied!

Great plug and play TV without having to program

This was larger than the 20" TV it replaced and I'm glad I went this size. The picture is excellent. My wife and I also didn't want a smart TV with voice remote. We just wanted a simple plug and play TV without having to program it. This Insignia TV is perfect for us.

There is an unused part about 2-inches at top and bottom. The controller doesn't seem to be able to fix this.

Definitely not a smart TV

But this is 2020 and all TVs should have audio that doesn't fluctuate when changing channels or going to commercials. After much fiddling, the picture is good. The program directory lists only the current program and the next program and only details the current program. The 16 year old unit being replaced gave 4 to 8 hours of program listings and detailed all programs listed. When you turn it on it takes 7-8 seconds for the picture to come up but they use that time to advertise the Best Buy brand. Overall, I feel that it is an adequate TV for the price. I try never to recommend. It either works for me in my life or it doesn't. You have to make your own decision.

Great clarity color and sound.! Crystal clear. And, great for connecting to laptop / computers or mobile phones for an additional 2nd screen.! Working from home the Insignia 24” is an excellent 2nd screen.!

My dads tv broke so I bought him this one and he loves it . Coming from an old and heavy Samsung tv to a lightweight and bright tv is a big difference
