    Decided to pick one of these up after realizing my smaller personal blender was no longer enough. I knew that with a Ninja I was going to get quality and that is certainly the case here. It is more than powerful enough to mix up anything that you can throw at it including ice cubes. Really impressed with the build quality and the light work of any ingredients that I put into it. Would highly recommend.

    Great product overall. The top seems to be the first part of the blender that goes out. I've had to replace it with one I got off Amazon. So, it would be a good idea to get Geek Squad protection when buying. I think it would probably have saved me from having to get a replacement item needed to make the blender a good buy. The top has to be fully closed to work, and I've held it down while the blender is on to keep it operational until the replacement part arrived.

    Christmas gift for wife. She's opened the box and she crushed some ice so far. Did a great job making snow! One caution: clean blades thoroughly and then clean again before first use. Must not have cleaned well enough because the snow had an after-taste when put in drinking water. Daughter has had similar model for several years. Still going strong and she loves it.
