      Hi Nancy,

      Thank you for purchasing the HW-T650 soundbar and for your review. I am very sorry for the sound synchronization issue you are experiencing.

      If the video on the TV and audio from the soundbar are not synchronized, press the SOUND CONTROL button on the soundbar remote, until you see AUDIO SYNC on the display. You can then set the audio delay between 0~300 milliseconds by using the Up/Down buttons.

      You can also try the below to minimize the delay:
      1) Connect the source directly to the Soundbar’s HDMI input, then connect the Soundbar to the HDMI ARC input on the TV.
      2) On the TV, set the Sound Delay level to 0. Home > Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Delay: “0”
      3) Change the audio format to PCM on both the source device and the TV.

    This item was and open box item, but all parts should have been included as that was stated by best buy. Missing was the wall mount hardware and and audio cable. The sound bar itself sounds fine but I'm disappointed in Best Buy regarding the missing parts. I could have gone back to the store but I live 40 miles from it.

    Barely 4 months in and the subwoofer won’t connect, and the soundbar won’t switch on. The sound keeps defaulting to the tv speaker and while connected through the HDMI, a prompt reads on the soundbar as “not available”. A complete rip off.

      Thank you for your review of the HW-T650 Samsung Soundbar. We appreciate you sharing your experience with occasionally not hearing any sound from your soundbar. You may want to check that the cable connection is not loose. Remove the cable and connect again.

      You may also want to initialize your soundbar again by pressing the - + (volume) buttons at the same time for at least 5 seconds. “INIT” appears on the display when the soundbar is initialized.

      Please also make sure that you have the latest firmware update. You can update your firmware by using a USB device.

    Not sure about the soundbar yet, waiting for accessories to arrive. Purchase open box, and I was told power cord and manuals were missing. So I bought the power cord. Then I had to buy the remote. And the optical cable. Price is still significantly less than new.

      To improve your experience, try using Dynamic Range Control (DRC). DRC lets you apply dynamic range control to Dolby Digital tracks. With DRC turned on, loud sounds will be reduced.
      1) Turn off your Soundbar.
      2) While the Soundbar is off, press and hold the Sound Mode button on the remote control for 6 seconds until you see “DRC ON” shown on the display.
      3) To turn off DRC, repeat steps 1 and 2 above.

      You can also try optimizing audio performance for your specific content by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your soundbar remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, GAME, or SMART.

      You can try optimizing audio performance for your specific content by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your soundbar remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, GAME, or SMART.

      You can also press the Sound Control button on the remote (looks like a gear) to adjust TREBLE and BASS.

      Press and hold the Sound Control button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each of seven frequency bands.

      Using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the volume of the subwoofer between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button down.

      If your soundbar and Samsung TV are connected by an optical cable, Auto Power Link will turn your soundbar on automatically when you turn on the TV. If you have the soundbar connected with an HDMI cable to the Samsung TV, Anynet+ will turn the soundbar on automatically.

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung HW-T650 Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer. I am sorry to see that you are not happy with the subwoofer.

      By design, the purpose of the subwoofer is to reproduces low frequency sounds and not musical tones. It adds rich tones and deepens sound effects, like the rumbles of an explosion or the depth in bass guitars and drums.

      There are two adjustments that can be made for bass and subwoofer:
      1) Using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the volume of the subwoofer between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button down

      2) Adjust the bass control by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button (gear icon) on the remote control, then select BASS to increase the level. You can adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.

    We had to take two back. If you want a sound bar that sounds good and can not afford a bose or sono get polk. It is a good system and has a few good features voice assist to raise the voice. You can adjust the back speaker which are really blue tooth. It has 3 sound settings.

      Thank you for purchasing this Samsung HW-T650 Soundbar featuring a dedicated center channel for clear dialogue and a wireless subwoofer for deep bass. I am sorry to hear that you are not completely happy with performance.

      Your soundbar features Smart Sound Mode to automatically analyze your content and optimize sound settings for the best audio delivery. You can also select from STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, GAME, SMART, or DTS VIRTUAL:X effects by pressing the SOUND MODE button on the soundbar remote.

      You can further adjust TREBLE and BASS via the SOUND CONTROL button (looks like a gear symbol).

      There are two adjustments that can be made to maximize bass from the soundbar and subwoofer:
      1) Using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the volume of the subwoofer between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button in.

      2) Adjust the bass control by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button (gear icon) on the remote control, then select BASS to increase the level. You can adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.

      For precise audio adjustments, you can use the 7-band frequency equalizer to optimize the sound for your room acoustics.
