I even had my niece try them on and she mentioned that she liked them more than the Bose. I highly recommend these. I bought them mostly for when I study and want noise cancelling.

The sound cancellation feature is worth every dime u spend. The only down side is that u cannot raise ur arms above u head or lay down with them without activating some type of touch feature that will interrupt your program.

Make sure to install the latest software version of the headphones (via the Sony Headphones Connect app) for optimum performance.
The range of the Bluetooth connection is approximately 30 feet (10 meters). However, the maximum communication range will vary depending on obstacles (person, metal, wall, etc.) or electromagnetic environment.
Resetting and initializing the headset may also help resolve the issue:

Too hot on ears

The other issue was that the headphones physically got too hot and heavy on my ears after wearing for about 10 minutes. I ended up returning them because I couldn't deal with the heat. I had to take them off too frequently.
