It was easy to set up but it does take up a lot of counter space. It makes the best soft ice pellets and if you use a certain kind of bottle water, the ice is even softer. An ice chewers dream.

I bought the insurance (4 Years) and BB was nice enough to provide me a new one on the spot. The new unit however did not fill up the tank on its own after I followed the set up instructions. I had to take this heavy unit down back to BB. They then tell me that don't have any in stock and I need to wait 2 weeks. 2 weeks without an ice machine.

I never thought I would use ice daily when I only had the icemaker in the fridge. The ice produced is very premium and soft. My family loves it.
