It is not working and not usable at this point. I plan to contact Best Buy to see about a refund or replacement of this mouse. The cord is not durable.

Posted .Hello Frig! I'm sorry to hear your grandson's G203 cord has split! Best Buy does only have a 15 day return/exchange policy, unless you purchased the Geek Squad Replacement plan. This plan would cover for 2-years and you would be able to exchange the mouse anytime within that 2-years if the product stops working due to normal wear and tear. If you didn't purchase the Geek Squad Replacement plan you will have to go through our warranty claim process here https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000621393 to get in contact with our support team. Do you have usb 3.0?
