Amazing quality at a great price. A definite step up from a dslr

If you’re looking for a mid-price range camera, this will get you the best bang for your buck. I’ve had a wonderful time learning about all the different aspects of photography while using this Canon! Definitely a little intimidating at first if this is your first time using a camera of this nature, but I’ve liked the challenge and have started to improve :)

Great multi use camera. Video quality is great. Options on the camera are great. Again, best buy doesn't carry very many lenses in stock. If you have EF lenses you can by the adapter and utilize those to save cost.

Exactly what I was looking for. Lightweight, compact, and makes for a great travel camera, which was my primary reason for purchase.

I gave this camera as a gift and this was a gem. The person I gave it to is a budding photographer. He loved it and even bought attachments for it.

great pictures I am learning photos now so there is a lot I still need to learn this camera works well for that I do not like the battery life. I seems to drain while not in use so I suggest buying many batteries. but it is a great camera at a good price point to learn with.

Camera has only been used for taking action shots of my grandson's football games. I was using an older Canon Rebel from 2003, and it was time for something more current. I'm very happy with my purchase. My action shots have been very clear. I like that I can still use the eye piece to look through. I still have a lot to learn with all the other options and for video.

I am absolutely loving this camera, it is my first mirrorless but not my first full frame setup. For being the budget version of the R series it's performing well, and as a bonus the lens it comes with is pretty decent for a kit lens. I have already purchased an RF 50 prime to go with it, and that has made things even better in my opinion. The photos are crisp and even in low light settings I'm getting some amazing shots. I plan to eventually upgrade to an R5 or 6 and use the RP as a backup camera.

Find a better full frame mirrorless camera at the same price point as this... I’ll wait. Just buy it you won’t be disappointed. The value you for for the price blows every other camera out of the water. Image quality is great. I’m not usually a fan of kit lens as the quality is usually bad but this kit lens is exceptional for the cost. Great combo at a great price. So what you waiting for. Buy it already!!!!

Its a beginners camera but with a whole lot of power if you learn to be creative and work within its limitations. Wouldn't recommend for professionals but those out there who are in photography this camera actually takes some very nice photos. I just had to fiddle around with some settings initially and learn my ways around the camera and its been a great experience. Took pictures of the moon and whereas most crop sensors out there didnt have enough data to zoom in the full sensor on this camera enough and then some. Took so really amazing photos of the moon.

Easy to use. Fantastic pictures!!! I was scared to move to mirrorless but it was better than I expected.

I’ve been shooting with the Canon EOS RP for about a month now. It’s a great full frame entry camera that excels at taking good video with stabilizing built into the camera and the lens. The auto focus works great for video but can get annoying when taking photos. If you’re looking for a good full HD, full frame camera with good image stabilization, this is great. If you need a camera for very low light shots, or 10 bit for color grades, you might want to pass on the RP.
