Spent the money for these and it has the same issue and disconnects on its on. It’s incredibly scary to me hours away from home trying to mess around with your cord because your gps disconnected from the cord. Save your money and just get amazon brand crap that you can replace for less.

After a short period of time it requires jigging around in the usb outlet before it will charge. This I expect from a $5 gas station charger but not from insignia charger from Best Buy.
