    it was either buy this or buy the one from Apple. This was the better choice. Better priced and still charges my phone along with Apple's new charger at high speed.

    I have been using the cable for only a short period of time, but it appears to be of good quality. I my experience, there are better quality/sturdier cables on the market, but I needed one right away and it will see light duty use.

    This is a very sturdy looking cable. The braided cable and connector covers appear to be very substantial. The only drawback is that being so substantial the cable is not as flexible.
