This is a great gaming monitor for PC or consoles. Nice stand. Easy U.I. Perfect for competitive gaming. The light on the back is a great touch.

Worth the price, i was lucky enough to get it on sale. No dead pixals, and gaming on this monitor is smooth as butter up 165hz. Will be buying two more to complete my set up.

What more can you ask for in a monitor? This thing checks all the boxes. Amazing color out of the box, 165HZ, G-Sync compatible. Came with both an HDMI and a DP cable. Absolutely loving my pair so far.

I had debated going ultra wide or large dual monitors. I ended up going dual as I use them for work as well and it is more functional to dock windows in separate screens. For home use I use them principally for gaming. Colors are bright and vivid and response times are so fast I cannot notice any issues. The controls on back are placed a little cumbersome but once you get your monitor adjusted you won't a have an issue. The monitor is G-Sync and FreeSync compatible which will optimize your gaming experience. I ran a game simultaneously on another high end Dell monitor that is not IPS or HDR and while it still looked good on the other monitor it was dramatically better on this monitor.

This is a top of the line monitor here. It's expensive, but worth every penny. I watched it for a while until it went on sale. I would definitely buy again.

One of the best IPS panels you can get with this awesome of a refresh rate//response time. Panel uses the same IPS tech as the pricier LG, with slightly different coloring gamut. 27 inches is the sweetspot for 1440p and to top it off this panel supports both gsync and free sync which isnt at this price tier often. Adjustable stand is nice and its pretty light with a cool blue back light for some nice ambiance. The only kinda bummer is how meh HDR is, but thats most displays under $800.

Bought this for gaming on my xbox. Everything runs as it should at 1440p 120hz. I have had zero issues. No dead pixels or anything like that. Looks great, easy to setup. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous and quick - the best base outside of an expensive OLED monitor for gaming you can get. Not only that, but fits in a tighter budget.

This model is great the lines are crisp response times amazing colors beautiful and extensive. Truly deserves the praise it receives for the right price

Great monitor for 1440p gaming - the HDR doesn't really work, but everything else works as advertised. Not a fan of the blue light on the back of the monitor which lights the wall behind up blue.

This monitor is perfect for gaming and picture. 165 hz is plenty for pc right now and the 1440p resolution just adds icing to the cake

The refresh rate & resolution on this is Awesome. This upgrade, along with a new graphics card bought in January, revitalized my gaming experience.

Excellent monitor. Crisp picture, HDR, 165 hz. As advertised. Had it for about 9 months and now buying a 2nd one to have side by side.

I had no problems with the picture quality, refresh rate, or response time of this monitor - its picture quality is awesome. The problem with my unit was that it would not automatically power on properly, either via DisplayPort or HDMI. After some time with no signal, it would require many, many presses of the power button to turn it on, and then after that, the on-screen display menu would not work. The power button did not seem to work except for a short time after it stopped receiving a signal, while the power button light was pulsating. When the button was pulsating, it seemed to respond perfectly with just a hover over it. However, after some time, the monitor seemed to power down completely and become unresponsive to my computer waking. The power button light would remain off completely, and seemed to almost completely stop working, even with extremely hard presses. I tested this with DisplayPort and HDMI from my computer, as well as through HDMI with another device. Both these devices previously would properly wake other HDMI displays. There is a discussion thread with many people discussing the same issue I had. Just search for "I have to power cycle my Dell S2721DGF every time I boot up my PC". Another review on Best Buy also mentioned "the power button feels like it’s broken". Because this is a somewhat known issue, and because I might have to move soon, I decided to get a refund for my unit instead of exchanging it for another one. I still plan on buying this monitor, or possibly another Dell, because this model is still the king for excellent picture quality at 1440p and 165hz. Hopefully the newer production runs for this monitor eliminate the problem I experienced, maybe even with a price drop soon. Or, maybe Dell will release a better model with some features that are missing (such as being able to handle a 4k signal). Overall though, I had no problems with the features or picture quality of this unit. Some reviews complained of backlight bleed, which I did not notice, though admittedly I'm not the most critical. I did notice the blacks were not quite as deep as my 4k TV when gaming, though that comes with being an IPS panel. The refresh rate and response time were excellent - at 165hz, I didn't notice any ghosting. While gaming, though I maxed out at 150fps, the image remained perfectly clear during fast movements. And though the monitor lacks speakers, I somewhat appreciate that if it means more of the production cost was allotted to the excellent picture quality. Overall, I'll give this monitor a 3/5 because of the poor experience. Had I gotten a non-defective unit, this would easily be a 5/5 gaming monitor for its price range. The aesthetics of the monitor don't scream "gamer" too much which is a plus in my opinion, though its blue lighting and curves on the base give it some character. Additionally, the physical build quality and material feel very premium.
