Monitors were one of those things that I would buy cheap, so this was my first expensive monitor. I should have gotten a good monitor a long time ago. Texts are so much clearer. As far as gaming, it seems pretty good. I don't have much to compare to though. Colors look great

Comes with HDMI and DisplayPort, so no issues there. I did have to manually change it from I believe 60hz to 144hz, so keep an eye out for that in your display settings so that you're not missing out on performance. Zero dead or stuck pixels. Stand is really nice and easy to adjust. I am incredibly happy with this monitor.

The color accuracy out of the box is fantastic. It has a nice stand. Incredibly low latency. No dead pixels, and little IPS glow. 165hz feels buttery smooth. The colors loom much more realistic than my MSI quantum dot 165hz monitor. It's great for playing Warzone, and all my other games. Thank you Bestbuy and Dell.

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This review is 2 parter : one for the product itself and the other is for Best buy (buying experience) The S2721DGF falls under the enthusiast segment, it comes with a bunch of features from top tier (like fast response times) and lots of bells and whistles. In my experience out of the box, the monitor had great color reproduction and setup was a breeze. The native settings were auto detected and I was on 2K/165Hz. Each monitor is different, so I would recommend calibrating it for color accuracy, if so required. It also has USB extension, so you plug your devices directly onto the monitor which is a cool feature to have. So far, I have used it on some games and some basic productivity tasks and pretty happy with the performance so far. 5 stars for the product! Now onto the Best buy experience - I saw the monitor was on stock on my local best buy, so I opted to walkin to pick it up - They did not have any of this monitor in stock - Not cool Best Buy. The Geek squad/BB folks asked to buy and request shipping to my home (I usually dont like shipping, since electronic items are more susceptible to damage and fraud) 2 stars for BB buying experience.

The blue backlight is a cool feature and the response time / colors are awesome. My only complaint would be that when viewing things that are black in color, the screen tends to grey it a little. Hard to explain but it’s not a deal breaker for me. Was able to get this on sale for $299 so it was totally worth it.

Great ergonomics, clear text, great refresh rate and response times. One monitor did have a single dead pixel, but it’s off to the side and not super noticeable.

I upgraded to this 1440p monitor from an older Alienware 1080p monitor. Great colors and it is a super crisp display. I will be upgrading to a higher refresh rate monitor in the near future and this will definitely become my second monitor!

The colors are super vibrant the blacks are deep excellent and the frame rate is smooth. I have a great tv and gaming on my older monitor was disappointing in comparison. However this one is just as satisfying to the eye. Great quality from Dell as usual.

I work from home and needed a second monitor for my Mac. I already had a Dell but the one I had was out of stock and this was a recommended model. I know it’s for gaming but the color is fantastic and I can see everything on the screen perfectly. Pretty solid recommendation.
