i really don't like this foodie there was no receipt book for it?

Not practical for large dinners ( 10 people + ) AT ALL!

Review for Ninja - Ninja® Foodi® 6-in-1 8-qt., 2-Basket Air Fryer with DualZone™ Technology - Dark Grey I’ve been using a different air fryer for years and always appreciated how well it did for quite a range of foods — not just fries, but meats, and mixed dished like fajitas. But it was big and I had to either deal with it on the counter or haul it out when I wanted to use it. The Ninja Foodi is slightly smaller for the same capacity, but it certainly takes up a good portion of counter space. But in my case, it’s earned that space! The unit is well designed, easy to use, and looks good. Best of all it can do so much more that airfry. You can use it to reheat, roast, and even dehydrate! The single best feature, though, is the Smart Finish. You can load up the dual bins with two different foods — think meat and vegetables — cook them at different temps for different times and the machine figures out how to finish them at the same time. In the same way, Match Cook let’s you cook the same things in both bins while only setting the controls for one of them and telling the other bin to do the same. Overall, the controls are straightforward and well thought out. It makes great “fried” chicken and of course tasty French fries.

I’ve come to learn that the Ninja Foodi line is amazing and so far this 2 basket air fryer is no exception. Tried it out over the weekend since we had limited use of our kitchen due to so work being done. Being able to cook 2 different items at once was perfect and meant no one had to wait for something to finish cooking while part of the meal was getting cold. I love that despite the misleading air fryer name this is much more. The size of the baskets was also great. The food came out perfectly cooked with little work from me. I will definitely continue to get good use out of it.

The Ninja Foodi 2 Basket Air Fryer is the 3rd air fryer that I have owned. With each purchase they have gotten progressively larger in cooking capacity as well as more sophisticated in functionality. The Ninja Foodi 2 Basket Air Fryer is now my go-to appliance for both quick snacks and almost oil-free meat and entrée preparation. I’ve cooked French fries and chicken strips, sausages, pizza rolls, zucchini and squash, chicken thighs, and homemade potato wedges so far all with surprisingly good results. I definitely recommend reading the Quick Start Guide before use and will be the first to admit that timing your cooking requires a bit of trial and error. All of my recipes cooked a bit faster than the recommended times in the included Air Frying Charts. So it’s a good idea to monitor your food more often than the 2-3 times that you are instructed to shake or stir it to ensure even cooking. The fryer itself has an attractive, dark gray/metallic finished ceramic coating with silver trim on the dual basket handles and top. Each basket has a 4-quart capacity (total 8-quart) and the capabilities to air fry, air broil, roast, bake, reheat, or dehydrate. DualZone Technology enables the two baskets to cook two different foods at the same time, at different temperatures, and for different lengths of time. Both baskets can be utilized simultaneously (eliminating the need for cooking batches of food back-to-back) and the device can be programmed to have both items ready at the same time (using Match Cook Technology). Either cooking basket can be used on its own as well. Included are 2 crisper plates that allow air to circulate beneath your food in addition to around it. Both the plates and the inside of the baskets have a nonstick coating and are easily wiped clean. Some parts are advertised as dishwasher safe but I prefer to hand wash instead of risking possible damage to the nonstick coating. I will be using plastic and wooden utensils to decrease the possibility of scratching as well. The entire unit warms up and generates heat both during use and while cooling down, so a location that allows air to circulate around it is best. I look forward to exploring the bake and dehydrate functions of this device in the near future. I can definitely describe this machine as impressive and say that it delivers as advertised. 5 star!

This air fryer is one of the best the market from Ninja. I am very fascinated with dual cooking feature and the food gets done at the same time. All that is to be done is to drop the food into each basket, enter cook method (one of the 6 options) and time for each basket. There is also an option to choose smart finish - which automatically syncs up the 2 sides so the foods finish cooking at the same time. If you just want to make a lot of one type of food, the 2 baskets combine to 8 qt and there is a quick setting to copy the cooks settings to both baskets. It is super easy to clean, we just have To drop the basket and the included crisper plate into the dishwasher. Meats and veggies, fresh and frozen and other foods like fruit or baked goods can be made. I also tried out French fries and it came out really well with minimum amount of oil. The key is to set the temperature at the right setting. I would highly recommend this to everyone.

Let me start off by saying I am a big fan of air fryers and also Ninja products. We currently also have the 4qt. single basket Ninja that many of my comparisons will be made to. I loved the idea of a dual basket/zone air fryer as that is a pain to have to make one food and keep the others warm before you can eat. This handles that with ease. We made fries and chicken wings and they both turned out great. Ninja is great for durable easy to use products and this one does not disappoint. Instructions are clear and straightforward operation is simple. Cleanup is easy. A couple of items that I don't care for compared to our single basket model. With the shape of the cooking baskets being rectangular even though they are each 4 qts. they don't seem to hold as much as the round one. When using the dual controls your cooking time for each individual item is almost doubled as compared to a single basket model. Even with these drawbacks it is still a great product and it will be used over and over for reheating and cooking foods. Highly recommended

So I have already have another Ninja air fryer which our family literally uses everyday because it’s so simple, convenient and healthy. I always thought what could make this better? Here we have the Ninja Foodi 2 basket air fryer. It has two baskets that let you cook two different foods at two different temperatures. For example we can now cook chicken breast with a side of veggies or chicken wings and fries together instead of waiting for one things to be done cleaning the basket then cooking the other food. If you haven’t gotten an air fryer I’d recommend getting this one because it’s a great one to start with. The baskets are also non stick so clean up is pretty easy too.

Up front, there has been NO odors being immitted from this unit. The impressive cooking modes have been covered repeatedly so leave it that all work as advertised - really well. There is one thing: All air fryers call for food to be spread out for equal and complete cook through, The baskets are deep and relatively small so it would be advantageous to have a rack included with the Ninja to either increase the amount to be cooked or, when desired, bring certain items closer to the heat element. Bottom line - the Dual Zone with the Smart Finish / Match selection is a major plus. It simply cooks more food better and more tasty than other appliances and, when directions are followed, it's a snap to clean. A great buy!

I gotta say, Ninja really nails it with their designs. I love the look of the new Food Air Fryer. We've used it a handful of times and everything has come out perfect, from Pork Chops to Chicken Tenderloins. Everything comes out moist and perfectly cooked. It also pretty quiet which is a major plus. You can hear it but it's not loud like a lot of air fryers we've gone through over the years. It's definitely replaced the one we had before and that one now sits in the garage. I like how there's the 2 baskets and that you can cook two of the same or two different things at the same time. It does affect how long things take to make though. The controls are also simple and intuitive. If you need to make something but need to use both baskets to do so you just press Match Cook to "sync" the baskets. It's got plenty of options for cooking for an air fryer, more than you'd expect. Can't wait to try some other things in there. I've been really pleased with it so far, not to mention all the other Ninja products we have that have stood the test of time over the years. If you want something that doesn't take up all your counter space or has the option of cooking two things at once, the Ninja Foodi line is pretty hard to beat.

The air fryers are nice, but living with a vegetarian made it difficult to cook for both of us. Now that is not a problem!!!! He has one side and I have another!!! The other day it was shrimp for me and tofu for him! The tofu takes longer and with the separate controls it was a snap with no concern for 'cross contamination'. It would be PERFECT for picky eating kids as well. The footprint on this machine is big- plan on enough counter space when using. It does seem to cool down quickly. It is also MUCH easier to use than my previous one with basic no-nonsense control panel. Now I cant wait for Thanksgiving- this will be such a BIG help!!!

This thing is a beast! It can cook two different things at the same time. It’s so easy to clean! I love it so much just wish it was a bit smaller.

We really like this fryer. It looks nice, doesn't take up too much space. I love the dual zone. It is easy to use and doesn't make much noise. However, 2 things to think about; if you are using both baskets it take twice as long too cook. Also, I havent been able to find any pans that will fit in the baskets as they are pretty narrow. Ninja only sells a boil rack and its an additional $20, no thanks. So cooking anything that needs a pan or dish is out of the question. If these things don't bother you, then you will like it. We are keeping our Insignia 5 qt fryer just for dishes.

Its a awesome air fryer. If you like air frying I would definitely recommend this to get more food done.

The Ninja Foodi 2 Basket Air Fryer is easy to use and incredibly easy to clean. This is my first experience using an air fryer and so far, I love it. Within a week, I made garlic shrimp with rosemary tomatoes which I tossed in angel hair pasta, chicken tenders with French fries and avocado fries. The air fryer is very easy to use and I love the dual baskets so you can make two different things at the same time. Cuts down on prep time and ensures everything is ready at the same time. It’s a very nice feature. I also really like how easy it is to clean. The non-stick surface washes off so easy even after cooking shrimp. The entire unit is also pretty light weight which means I can store it in my cupboard while not in use. I just place it on the counter to use and then put away when done. I can’t wait to try more recipes. They all sound so yummy and easy. Overall, I am very happy with the air fryer!
