Smooth menus, tons of Apps available (Android TV based, so you could use your TV provider account for many of them) You could easily eliminate a cable box with this and your cable provider account. Google assistant, source option, and volume are added features. I'd go five stars if you could filter out items that you do not subscribe to. I use this on the same 2013 model Samsung 60" TV/Room as a Bose 500 With Google Assistant, no issues.

At first I was very skeptical about purchasing another device for our tv because we had gotten rid of cable several years ago. But it has been great and my family has enjoyed it so much that we have bought 3 more for all of our tvs.

In the event the remote stops working which mine has been put through alot and still goes. You can cast and control the tv vua your phone

Upgraded from old Chromecast

This makes it feel like a modern TV and I don't presently care about UHD from newer TVs. I like that this product exists. I like the parental controls I can set up too. Setting time limits and app limitations for my kids is easy and I can extend the time if I need to.

Definitely not as a good as a Roku but I am very involved in the Google ecosystem and I wanted my Google Photos to display on my TV. Interface can be glitchy, certain apps still not supported. It's a good product though and I trust Google will continue providing updates that make it even better and on par with the other products on the market.
