Worse Streaming Product on the Market!

Multiple issues with setup including taking way to long. Once its up, its laggy, drops connection, search menu's don't work. Google home is clunky, slow and fails often. I can't say this straight forward enough, the worst streaming product on the market. I mainly stay in the roku space and own many of them, used Firesticks, have +450mbs internet, managed router and modem and no device on my network has any issues except...the chromecast. Just do not buy it.

User experience for live tv at least is rigid and tedious. With Comcast I could press the power button and within a few seconds be watching the last channel I had on. With Google Chromecast you have to turn it on (see response time below); wait until the home screen appears; click the cursor buttons to get to the app you want (hulu in this case); click the app; wait for it to open; find your show; click on it; wait for it to play. You have to do this every time you turn on the TV. Without getting into the details, voice input does not help, but it can certainly confuse and lead you astray. Response time from button push to effect can be anywhere from instantaneous to 10-15 seconds. It's like the button pushes go to a Google (or perhaps Hulu?) server somewhere which then tells the Chromecast device what to do. There no rhyme nor reason to it that I can see.
