Within a few minutes of plugging the little dongle to the back of your TV, you will be watching media from everywhere you can hope to find movies, TV and internet programming. With 4K support and being easily hidden away at the back of any media setup, the Chromecast with Google TV does feel the ideal device for new people wanting to jump into the world of streaming.

Almost perfect, just needs a few extra updates

I purchased another for our projector, which is hooked up to a receiver, but it didn't do the job there. It couldn't control the volume of the receiver, but Roku & the FireTV couldn't either. Worst of all, it doesn't (as of this review) support Apple TV...or At&t Watchtv (only on FireTV) & NFL Sunday Ticket. However, the Android UI is top-notch, fast, and customizable. Lots of potential for this little device.

Bought this little gadget to replace an ATV 4K that is just getting old. Having also just purchased a 950H I have become accustomed to the fast Android TV experience. This Chromecast has a very similar UI/UX & just works better in the modern streaming world we live in not. The antiquated format of the ATV UI/UX is too clunky in today's modern internet.
