Turns out my new card had 2 HDMI ports (should have read the box!) so I didn't need it. But Best Buy refused to accept the return because it was more than 14 days, unless I wanted to spend money on becoming a member. This policy does not make sense for this particular item -- it's their own brand, it is not something that goes out of date, etc. This policy is not typical of the other companies I buy electronics from and I'm honestly disinclined to buy anything from Best Buy again because of it. I was forced to throw away a perfectly good cable due to this terrible policy.

Not a good product for the prices.

If her GPU had had another HDMI port or her monitor had a display port I would have gone direct but unfortunately I got stuck with this junk for a few days

Thank you for your review. This cable is only working on DipsaplyPort to HDMI port, you should connect the HDMI port to monitor. it can't work on reverse direction.

I returned it and bought the same thing but Insignia instead which worked perfectly.

Waste of my time and money
