It handles all types of documents and photos well and has many scanning options. The installation was a bit complex, but works every time now. One other nitpick is that you have to scan the network and add the scanner in the scanning interface every time you launch the program, I would think it should remember it from instance to instance.

It has issues with connecting to WIFI which is the main problem with it. I honestly ended up dropping off the papers I needed to scan as a batch and email. If you do not mind spending 400 for a scanner go for it. I am very techy and love tech so anything smart grabs my attention. I honestly do know there are much better scanners on the market for this price. I honestly am too busy to even re package it and return it.
