The functionality of the transparency mode as well as adaptive audio are my favorite. Two things I’ve noticed about the AirPods I have owned previously: The case scratches extremely easily and the AirPods, when dislodged from the case, also get scraped up easily, even if you only drop them once. My recommendation for this is to buy a case with the AirPods to keep them on good condition and try your best to keep the pods themselves in the case to avoid scratches. They are not the best at connecting to other devices that are not Apple-made products. I have a lot of feedback from others saying when on video calls with AirPods on my laptop I sound “underwater”.
