This is a defect in their control panel - I have only used water to clean it. They will not replace or help me. Do not buy this oven.

Thank you for purchasing this Samsung range model 14 months ago. We understand your point of view about numbers and lettering on the control panel disappearing.
The vent for your oven is next to the control panel. So, when the oven is in use, the control panel will get warm. Over time, the markings may get removed especially when they get wiped with a dry/wet cloth.
