I am not sure why they would produce something like this. We've owned it for less than 6 months and have many random scratches on the top. Out last glass top was 15 years old and had zero scratches (same use and pans). I would not recommend this stove for that reason. Otherwise it's been great!

Please refer to pages 24-25 of the range's manual, specifically the sections "Using the Proper Cookware," "Choosing the Proper Cookware," and "Protecting the Cooktop," as well as pages 44-46, which cover "Care and Cleaning of the Oven" and "Care and Cleaning of the Glass Cooktop."

I drink a-lot of tea. The options on the oven are great. The two things that were not great are the metal cover didn’t line up with my outlet. I had to move it horizontal. The packing tape that was used was terrible to get off. The string tape was awful to remove. I thought it had ruined the finish.
