Works for the size

The 26lbs is in a 24 hour period with is about 1lb of ice an hour. It has a small ice basket that fills up quickly and then the ice maker can’t produce additional ice. This means that while it’s capable of producing that much ice a day, it won’t. The ice starts to melt because it’s not stored in a separate compartment, like a freezer.

It makes the ice very quickly. Wish they had a side pocket or something so you can put the ice scooper in. Other than that, great buy!

Easy fast ice

I used to buy ice every 2 days because we like the chewy ice. Now I have enough ice for everyone in my large family!!!

Rliable ice maker, Fast too!

Both works great. I had a refregeration breakdown and this was essential equipment between the repair and replacement of refrigerator.

Good for short term use

This is not however a good solution for a large group. If you’re camping or need a short term replacement for a broken built in ice maker this is a great choice.
