Nice, compact ice maker for a kitchen counter. Makes ice fast but isn't insulated well so the ice melts soon. The melted ice goes back into the water tank so there isn't any waste. I would buy again.

It makes ice fast and easy but there's a weird factory taste to the ice, even after having it for about a month and cleaning it frequently. I have ran water through it to try to help get rid of the taste and I keep getting black floaties out of it. I recently cleaned it with vinegar and that has helped a bit so far. Hopefully after a few more uses it will finally go away.

I love this lil ice maker. Love how compact it is and not as loud as the other ones. Can’t beat the price!

i purchased this ice maker as a gift and had the privilege of using it over the Memorial Day weekend! It really does make ice as fast as it claims! It's quiet and compact. I'm going to have to buy one for myself and I'm not even a huge Ice user! Very impressive...

Works as it should. Quickly makes ice and is quiet while running other than when the ice dumps, as expected.

So far so good. This is the second countertop I’ve maker I’ve had, I bought the first one from Amazon and it lasted about a year before it just quit working one day. My ice maker in my refrigerator makes nasty tasting ice so it’s nice to have something I can pour filtered water into and have ice that doesn’t taste bad. It’s small enough to fit on the little countertop space o have between the stove and the doorway into my dining room. It makes plenty of ice for our iced coffee and water bottles each morning and then makes plenty for that nights iced drinks with dinner.

Great ice maker. It doesnt make alot of noise. Alot of times i dont realize its even running until the ice drops. Fits well on my counter and actually does make alot of ice for what i expected from the bucket area. Down side is there isnt really a place to put the scoop because if you leave it inside it gets burried and if you leave it outside there's no place for it to sit. I put a small piece of tape on the cover so its not attached but its not falling off and getting lost all the time. If it had a clip on the cover to snap the handle of the scoop in and maybe double as a handle to lift the cover to empty the ice, refill the water, or move the ice around so it makes more ice it might be better, but its definitely not a deal breaker. Easy to use. Makes ice quickly and quietly. Just wish the ice storage was a little bigger.

My family goes thru ice like crazy especiallyin the summer. I got tired of buying bag after bag of ice. I saw this ice maker was on sale and decided to buy it. We are 100% happy with it. I timed...it makes 9 pieces of ice every 7 minutes. We have been using it for almost 2 months now. Definitely worth the $99 its running now. It was on sale a little cheaper when i got mine

This was a replacement for a similar Frigidaire unit that failed. It got a tough test recently on a 10-day camping trip. It lived outside in the heat under an RV awning and faithfully cranked out over a pound of ice an hour, as long as you added water every few hours. We dumped the basket into gallon bags and stored them in the RV freezer since this unit does not store ice. When the freezer was full, we started dumping it directly into the ice chest. It saved the money, time and gas of doing "ice runs" and the cube size made it the preferred ice for mixed drinks. Home run, Insignia! Efficient, quiet, and "nice ice". We brought it home and made bags of ice for beverages.

This is great for a backup ice maker I’m in the fridge. For two people this works just fine and keeps up. Any higher demand for ice I would buy the next size up

I love this ice machine. Years ago I bought one online and it ended up being absolutely huge - far too huge for a simple home ice machine. Therefore I never used it. This one is perfect for our family. Easy to use, just enough ice and doesn't take up too much space.

First I have to amit, I didn't really think this would keep up with a party of 4 having cocktails, but it did after completing the first round. We just filled it full of water and it ran the whole evening without lack of ice. It's now a standard addition to my RV when we travel. Even with a planned event with a group we just start it early and store some in the freezer for getting the first rush out of the way. It's so simple to operate and the removal ice bucket is great. I did give it a 5 stars but have to say something about the fan noise. Don't get me wrong. It's not really bad but it is noticeable. The great price dose makes it seem quite thought. I'll say is well worth it for a quick bar setup for an unscheduled visit of some good friends or just the get together with your special squeeze for a quite night.

Love this ice maker. I have the red and love the color. It makes ice as specified and takes about 30-40 minutes to make a full basket of ice. The basket is not huge but it makes enough ice to fill about 2 16 oz cups and as long as you take the ice out and freeze it, you can continue to make ice. Machine does not keep ice frozen so it should be removed and placed int eh freezer as soon as possible. Just add water and press a button for the power and size. It’s very simple to use. I am glad I purchased this item!

Got this ice maker for our little at home bar and it has been great! We never run out of ice and it’s not very loud or bulky. I definitely recommend this you’ll love it too.

So far so good! I've had it 2 weeks. Makes ice quickly. 2 sizes and easily crunchable! I like that it stops making when the basket is full but if I use the whole basket it automatically makes more! Nice little unit for 1 or 2 people. If you need more, you can just put it in the freezer and store it!

I bought this last year, for my son who moved out into a small apartment with a small freezer and no way to make ice. He uses it daily, it still works great and he's very happy with it.

This a a great little machine! Provides both large and small round cubes that seem to last longer than cubes made by my refrigerator ice maker. It runs quiet and simple to operate and clean after use. I would purchase this machine again!

Since my ice maker on my fridge went out, this portable ice maker has been a godsend. I can make large or small cubes in minimal time. The auto shut off makes it great for those days i forget i have it making ice. I can make an entire tray bin of ice within the hour. I would recommend this to anyone on a budget and does not want to run out to purchase bags of ice on a regular. Perfect for the space and has a nice option of colors to choose from.
