Bought it for the RV, but you can use it anywhere you have 110 VAC. The design covers the bases, water holding tank is below the ice bucket, so melted ice is recycled. It makes ice incredibly fast, about 5 min for small cubes and about 7 min for large cubes. Winner winner!

This was a birthday gift for my daughter but was apparently a returned Christmas gift with tape and wrap still attached including someone’s name. Not the special feeling I es trying to send.
