We love it... when it works. We are on our third unit now. On the first two, the automatic shut off never worked, but we accepted this because we really wanted our ice... but the first unit quit after one year, we had the warranty, so we tried a second unit, same thing, one year later it is also dead. We love this machine, so we are now trying it a third time. Here's hoping that 3rd time is a charm. We really like it, just want it to last more than a year, and understand that most likely the auto shut off won't work. So i recommend it, just go in with your eyes open, understanding these issues, and buy a warranty for sure.

I use my ice machine constantly every single day, so I will say I was satisfied with getting another one. It does have a little "whine" that the other one did not, but I have the Geek Squad Protection plan, so I am not worried. (and no, that wasn't a plug for Best Buy......)

When you transfer the cubes to the freezer, the cubes freeze together so you need to break them apart when you want to use them.
