The ice try can't be removed and gunk accumulates above, below, and behind it (just look inside after a few weeks). Big design flaw. No amount of vinegar will clean it out b/c it's from humidity. It needs to be wiped down, but you can't wipe something you can't reach, so you just throw it away instead. What a waste. The top of the unit should really open all the way and the ice try should be removable....

We use this machine a few times a week to fill up our non-working Samsung ice-maker. Great product and work-around for faulty ice makers.

For some reason the cubes melt after the bin gets full if I don’t use them right away. Yesterday the maker quit making any ice at all. I have the warranty on it, so that will be put to use. B

I bought it for a small business environment and it works great. For it to make as much ice as advertised, you would have to be constantly filling it with water and removing ice. For our small office, we just fill up an occasional cup and don't need large quantities.

If I buy another, it will have a handle. Ice machine works but at slower pace than advertised- 30 minutes+. It also recommended filtered water so it was not as easy as getting water from the tap. Machine was OK but wouldn't buy again.

No problems with it, yet. Use filtered water, with it. It tastes so much better, than tap, and probably will make it last longer. Also, extended warranty is a good idea. That getting stuck thing, kinda worries me.

After you make the ice you have to put it a container and put in the freezer. If you leave the ice in while its on, the ice will last a short while but start to melt. If it's not on, the ice will start to melt right away. Overall I'm happy with this. It meets my needs.

I just have to stay on yop of it while it’s making ice or else I will lose all the ice and start over again. The ice make doesn’t keep the ice for a long time like a freezer. It made them but you have to transfer them to a freezer right away or else it will melt and go back to the cycle. The other downside to it is. I have to constantly add water if I want it to make more ice. Make ice, transfer to freezer add water thats how it is.
