We had the ice machine in our refrigerator break and didn’t have the warranty on it. This was cheaper we ran it everyday for 2 years. Love it.

Meaning after the ice is made it doesn't stay cold. If left in the ice maker the ice will melt and go back into the machine to be made into ice again.

We let this run and refill a few times until the ice compartment in our freezer is full. It has a small footprint and is left on a counter unnoticed until we need it.

Only improvement would be to make larger cubes, but based on the units small size, it is probably limited to smaller cubes
