I paid 130 for only ice maker. Feel scammed. It’s a bulky device u would think u can store as well.

My freezer doesn't have an ice maker, so it's faster than putting trays in overnight to make ice. You have to pay attention because when the basket gets full, it stops and the ice it made melts to recycle the water. It's easy to forget about if you walk away. And you have to make sure you have something to store the ice in. The ice sticks together since its wet, so I break it up before I add new each time or you have one huge block.

My main concern with it is how long it will last, so I'll update when it gives up, which hopefully is around 5 years.

If you don’t want to spring for a fridge with an ice maker built in i would definitely recommend this ice maker.
