This machine is great. We have 2 refrigerators that don’t make ice and we only have to run the machine twice a week to make enough ice for both freezers (5 people). Only issue I’ve had is very minor, the ice tends to stick together when you first dump the basket into the bin in the freezer. I find if I spread it out a bit in the bin it helps.

Works much faster that I had hoped. Had enough ice to mix my first drink in under 10 minutes! I was hoping to use my Power pack (Jackery Explorer 500 Portable Power Station) to make some ice for a quick drink without firing up the generator in my RV, but it would trip the breaker. Although there was enough capacity in the battery, it didn't have the power for the initial start up of the ice maker. Although I could make enough ice while the generator was running for the day. Bought it when if was "Deal of the Day" so was a great price. Although it would be a find even at the regular price.

We have a small freezer and lets be honest its a hassle to make ice with the trays so this ice maker is perfect. It makes enough ice to fill up 3 quart size freezer bags to store in the freezer. Cubes start off small when first using it but get to the ideal size by the third time. It works for us. I like it stops making ice when the water is low and when it is full. It does not keep ice cold so once it is done making it you have to use it or store it which is not a problem for us.

Easy to use and makes ice fast. An inexpensive alternative to replacing the ice maker in your refrigerator/freezer.

This little baby does everything that it claims to do. We have been using it practically everyday since the purchase date and we have had no issues. We tend to use filtered water to help cut down on possible mineral build up, clean it weekly, and that's about it. It produces a great bit of ice if you keep it plugged up and it recycles water throughout the day (so if you leave the ice to melt, it just continues to make cubes with the same water) if we're not using enough ice -- which is fine. It's really pushed us all to drink more water, even if that means just chomping on ice cubes lol. Great product, highly recommend it!

A little before my wife's first knee surgery, in February last year, we bought it to access more ice. Boy !, we have been super happy with the performance this machine has done. Lots of ice. 4 stars because a year and a half to stop working. Insignia offers a one-year warranty, exactly when the machine could start to get into trouble. It seems to me a year is just time, what is not good is that Insignia seems not to care about producing a machine with a solid time-use-life. We all know that it can be done, because in the past manufacturing was made to last a long time. We are at this very moment buying another ice machine with another brand, to try and see.

I have absolutely loved my ice maker! I recently realized that there was mold on some spots. I cleaned it with a brush and water with dawn. I've been running it through repeated cycles. It now has a plastic taste to the cubes. It was fine initially but now it doesn't taste right. I've tried tap and bottled water. I'm going to try distilled. I'm just really disappointed that it seems like a disposable product if I can't clean it.

Makes good ice but when you put it in a container to freeze it keep it Frozen it freezes together cuz it's already started melting other machine don't get Frozen I do have to worry to my job to worry about that the machine does not keep it Frozen it only create size ice it does not freeze it so if you don't take it out it will not before you get to freeze it you will end up with a lump of ice do you need to break it apart and it's not easy

Awesome ice maker, with one fill we get enough ice for the month. Not noise at all

Easy to use and setup. Ice is made quickly and there is the option for two different sizes. I have been using this machine for a few months and really enjoy it. Way better than having to buy bags of ice from the store.

Works great. Makes good ice. Recommend product warranty! Replacing after just under 5 months for the “add water” light stopped working.
