Customers are saying

Customers consistently note that the ad blocking is the best feature and the app's overall performance is very good and reliable. Users also appreciate the content variety, background playback, and ease of use. However, some customers have reported issues with code validity, desired a longer trial period, and expressed disappointment that the offer is only available to new subscribers. A few users were also underwhelmed by the battery life.

I'm a long time Pixel user, and while the Pixel 6a has many features I like - call screening, magic eraser in Photos, circle to search & Google Lens to name a few - I'm underwhelmed by the battery life and the quality of the fingerprint sensor. Also, if you leave the phone app on your home screen you WILL pocket dial people (I've had this problem with every Pixel & just avoid it by putting phone in a folder.) For an affordable phone, though, I don't know if it gets better than the Pixel a line and I'll always recommend them.

I am not one to get subscriptions especially when the app is free. I always believed that the 5-30 seconds of ad time isn’t that much of a deal but after trying out YouTube premium it has been exponentially better.

Best service! Always find what I need and what my family wants. Easy to do online shopping and I usually hate online shopping. I like shopping in person and online. Amazing deals. Love Fitbit I got here and the one I got for my boyfriend.

I have videos, podcasts, spoken essays, or music going fairly nonstop during my work day. The fact that I don't have to worry about sitting through commercials or waiting a certain length of video before I'm allowed to skip the video is such a wonderful feeling. I can listen to an album without an ad SCREAMING its way into the middle of a song, I can put a sleep mix on without worrying about a commercial throwing off the vibe and waking me up. If you watch youtube daily o even semidaily, trust me that $9.99 a month is worth the price to relieve of you of these headaches. The new headache in your life will be when a friend wants to show you a video on THEIR phone and now you have to sit through advertisements again. Also, not surre if this applies to everyone, but for the price of youtube premium I also get google play music, so even if you dont necessarily watch videos all the time, I'm sure your mjusic needs will be met.

GOOD MONITOR DESPITE PLENTY OF ISSUES

I bought this monitor in November, 2022. I wanted a monitor for editing photos. The monitor has a really nice (compared to most) speaker set. Not tinny, well balanced. I've given the monitor 4 stars despite the issues I've had because LG support was responsive, and despite the issues, I REALLY LIKE the monitor. I can control the brightness and contrast from my MAC, something no other monitor I've had will allow. It iis 5K and a Matte screen so it is easier to see and use for longer periods of time. It has a built-in camera so I can do zoom meetings with it instead of having to use a laptop. Finally, the isssues I describe below have disappeared, fixed by resetting the firmware to default (I think) and a firmware update fromLG. Here is my experience with the monitr: I had problems from the beginning. The cursor on web browsers became weird. I could not use it to tell where input items were. I realized after awhile that if I changed the mouse size to its tiny oriiginal size all was well. Another problem: The power cord that came with the monitor fiailed to power themonitor. Fortunately I had a spare that worked. Then every so often, maybe two or three times a month, the monitor went black. I thought for ahile that the problem that the power chord had moved out enough so the connection was lost. But over time the problem got worse. The good news is that an update to the firmwhare fixed the web browser mouse/cursor issue. The bad news: The monitor began backing out 3-4 times a day. I subitted a ticket with LG. It took awhile for them to determine that I should send it back to them for repair. I dd so. They sent me. labels and paid for FED-x to ship it to them; I only had to package it. The repair happened in a reasonable time--about 10 days it later it was shipped back to me via FedX overnight. The problem had not been repaired. It still was balcking out. I did more of my own testing and realized the problem was really a software /firmware problem. Further, if I restarted the computer whenever the monitor blacked out, the monitor screen reappeared and worked normally, I have a windows computer as well, so set up remote software so I could connect remotely to restart the computer using the LG monitor. Sometimes the monitor would black out when I moved it forward or backwared on my desk. Still thinking it is a software problem, maybe caused by the firmware not compatible with some parts of the accessibility tools, I reset the firwmware to its original default. That apparently has worked. That was 2 weeks ago. The monitor has not blacked out since the reset to detaults. I have now used accessiblity tools to slightly enlarge the mouse cousor. But all is still well. Oh, I forgot, I contacted LG when the returned monitor failed again. They said to send the monitor back and they would repair it or replace it with a different one. I decided not to do that since I really like the monitor. Also, I spent $1300 for the thing and am determined that it should last for at least 5 years.
