Pros: The Auto IQ function definitely works with getting the correct consistency everytime. Cups are durable and have great lids! Very easy to clean compared to traditional blenders. Can create smoothies with minimal effort. Had suction cups to prevent wobbling. Cons: Loud enough to be heard throughout the house. Price is a little steep for a limited use blender. Blender base stays on if you aren't careful with the cup placement.

Phenomenal blender! I’ve had several Ninja blenders before but this tops them. The cups that come with this make for real easy smoothie makers which double as a to-go tumbler. All you have to do is add some ingredients to the cup, screw on the blades, and seat it on the blender. Then press the smoothie button and let it do its thing. The blender will run for roughly 3 seconds, stop, wait 2 seconds, run 4 more seconds, pause 3 seconds, etc. within a total time of 60 seconds. Take it off the blender when done, unscrew the blades, and screw on the flip-top sip lids. Crush operates in a similar fashion with the total time slot of 50 seconds. You’re also given manual options if you prefer to sit behind the blender. Those are on/off, which will run until you press the button again and pulse. Besides the obvious blender and cup accessories that come with this, you get a roughly 15-page recipe booklet with smoothies, frozen drinks, and alcoholic mixed drinks. My one and only issue I’ve faced with this blender is with ice cubes. I don’t quite understand it but as I prepped a smoothie I dropped in ice cubes at the end. Assuming crush mode has more torque or a higher rpm than a smoothie, I set it to crush. Well, that was a mistake. It would just grind and didn’t spin at all. Turned the mode off and hit smoothie next. All of a sudden it got to blending. Perhaps it was just one of those bizarre, right set of wrong events, that triggered it to grind. However, out of a week of use I never had this issue happen again.

SO FAR SO GOOD .. it grains up ice cubes .. but makes some noise.. I wonder how long it will last .. It also make a great shake, and that is why I purchased it ..

So easy to use and clean. I purchased this product to make my daily smoothie. It has a specific button for smoothie and it make a really good one.

I’ve always bought normal blenders which would always get ruined with a couple uses, this one works so good and doesn’t get ruined as easily definitely would recommend if you like to make smoothies every morning. The fact that it has a choice for smoothies is great, it did scare me at first since it is an Auto-iQ. Then i realized it’s the best thing ever!

This is the coolest little machine for easily making smoothies and your favorite iced drinks. This guy powers through ice like nothing, it's pretty amazing. The build is very beefy and solid without being a really large size. The base has a couple of suction cups on the bottom to help stabilize it during blending. The controls are basic and pretty intuitive. There's a Start/stop button, a pulse button and two Auto IQ buttons that will automatically sense and blend your drink as needed. One is for smoothies and the other is for crushed things (like ice). Just one touch of the button and the machine does whatever is needed to blend a perfect drink. It comes with two cups, two spout/lids and the blade assembly. All of these are dishwasher safe which makes clean up as easy as it could possibly get. We've used it mostly for iced drinks and I can say that the granularity of the ice is very uniform and small. No oddball large size ice chunks in the mix. It produces a nice smooth ice drink. Smoothies are blended with the same level of uniformity. This is the key feature of this blender. If you've ever made drinks in a traditional blender, you know what I mean. You would always get a wide variety of ice pieces in your drink. So the uniformity makes every bit of the drink... drinkable. This blender is just super easy to use and makes drinks fast! Clean up is virtually non-existent since everything that gets dirty can go in the dishwasher. There's also a drink recipe book included with lots of good ideas for a variety of drinks. If you don't want want to use the recipes you can easily just throw in what you want and go to town. Really nice machine, highly recommend it.

First, full disclosure: I received this product in exchange for an honest review. With that out of the way, I have to say this is the ultimate smoothie maker with one minor shortcoming, although it wasn't enough to warrant taking away a star. The product ships with 2 separate containers and lids so you can make different kinds of smoothies without having to take the time to wash. At 1100 watts, this does a superb job with frozen fruits and ice cubes, truly professional, restaurant quality results. I really like the Smoothie setting, by the end of the 50 second cycle the consistency is perfect, and I feel that it's random pulsating and speed changes will lengthen the life of the motor. It comes with a recipe book with 20 recipes for various smoothies, drinks, and sauces. Full color with lots of inspiration. My one and only knock on this product is that the base does not have suction cups and the machine does twist on the countertop as it does its work. If it would stay still, I would call it the perfect machine, a grand slam. Still, this is definitely a home run. My advice to Ninja would be to make the base more stable in the next model.

I love this Ninja product. I also own different Ninja products and i am very pleased with every each of them. But i use my Nutri Blender Pro every morning when i leave for work or before gym. It's Powerful, easy to clean. And makes my life easier each time a want a drink to go and i'm in a hurry!

I had already researched which Personal Blender was best for my needs and Best Buy had a comparable price. When I first used the blender is worked as expected.

I already had a larger blender from Ninja but found myself not using it because i didn’t feel like cleaning up the mess if i was only making one drink. Knowing they make great products it was an easy decision to pick up this personal sized model. It does everything as advertised and comes with two of the blending cups which comes in hairy since i always end up with one in the dishwasher. IQ technology seeks to work as advertised since it’s a one touch and done experience. Drinks - especially blended protein shakes - come out thoroughly mixed and not with a pile of powder at the bottom of the cup like some other blenders I’ve had.

Great machine does the job. I will buy another one soon.
