There are way cheaper versions available. Make sure you buy the warranty because the unit while fail within the year. Because the units are not repairable, it’s a throw away item, like disposable tissue. Cleaning is an absolute chore a you quickly start to wonder why you bought this machine. Don’t get me wrong, when works the ice nuggets or “the good ice” is amazing, but that quickly gets old because of maintenance and cost.

Will not last long, waste of money

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The ice is perfect, HOWEVER, the ice maker is just outside of the 1 year warranty mark and it’s stuck in a forever “defrosting” cycle, no matter how many times I call customer support or descale. Two other people people I know had their’s do the same thing. The ice is superior, but you’ll spend $500 every 14 months replacing it. Do not recommend.

Posted .We're happy to hear that you like the ice, but we're sorry about any trouble you've had. The unit will run a rinse cycle to defrost the ice maker when needed and then start making ice again.
