I use regular coffee filters and it works just fine. I used the feature to make oatmeal and hot chocolate and it was great. I got it on Black Friday so I got a great deal on it. $150

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wanted to love this coffee machine. The largest amount of coffee that I can brew is 33oz. It comes with a measure scoop but I have never been able to use more than three scoops although it says that for a full pot to use 5-7. The grounds spill over and get everywhere. Also when using the K-cup adapter, same things happen. Too much water too fast and grounds are everywhere. Lastly, there is no warming plate, so if you do like your coffee to stay warm for more than a couple hours, it will not do this.

Good for a year

Coffee can not be brewed on original or rich as its now watery and gross, and only works for specialty and over ice.

Not hot
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Why is this getting good reviews. It is just not hot. I am very handy. I looked and looked and there is no fix. I tried to microwave my coffeee after this thing made my almost warm pot but that got old.

Terrible Customer Service!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this Coffee maker on 4-8-22 and about a week ago the thermal carafe stopped pouring correctly....it now splashes hot coffee all over the place. I registered this appliance when purchased and contacted Ninja today. I was told the isn't part of the warranty, so I would have to purchase one for $49.99. Really? I paid over $213 and this is what I get?

It broke 4 months after buying it and their warranty and customer service suck. It takes them 10 business days to send you a replacement and they want to do video call with you to see you cutting the power cord before they can send you a replacement unit. Customer representative and her supervisor Shanna were very rude and unprofessional.

Terrible coffee maker, failed in 16 months

Every time the CLEAN light lit, I cleaned/descaled it as instructed by Ninja. For the last 6 months, it has been displaying ADD WTR. It has become a true pain in the butt and I'm DONE. I have used gallons of vinegar, done everything correctly and carefully, and the stupid thing just won't brew coffee when I politely as it to. But if you google the average lifespan of a Ninja coffeemaker, it's right at ONE YEAR. I can't afford to drop a couple hundred dollars on a new coffeemaker every year or so. Do yourself a favor; forget EVERY Ninja product and buy yourself a nice, simple, inexpensive Mr. Coffee coffeemaker. That's what I'm going to do.

Very poorly designed

The hot water that flows out of a the cup is not centered and splatters hot water outside of the cup. 3. If you are boiling water beware of being burned. 4. You need to be an engineer just to take this thing apart to clean it. What a nightmare! Overall, a very disappointing purchase for the money. Would not buy this product or brand again.

Out the gate it didn't work right with the K-cup. Seemed easy enough to set up but when I pressed the button to start, a few drops of coffee came out and then nothing. On the third or fourth try it came out with a vengeance. Water and coffee splattered everywhere. Loved this brand until this experience.

Defective coffee maker

They refused the return after only 3 weeks even though The item was defective. You can bet that I will tell everyone I know about this experience unless my money is refunded.

Garbage product

After three years we we are stuck on “clean”
