New favorite kitchen appliance!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We use it nearly everyday. I have never really enjoyed cooking, but needed to start eating healthy again and this little unit has made all the difference in the world. Easy prep, relatively easy cleaning, plenty of capacity. If you are a cook extraordinaire and love being in the kitchen, maybe not needed, but for those of us that just want fresher meals that we can throw together in 25 minutes with minimal fuss, this thing rocks. Fair warning, you will likely burn a few things as you figure out how to use it, lol, but still totally worth it and there is a really nice guide to get you going on all kinds of foods.

I love it!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really love it! I use it for so many things that I previously used my oven for. It’s much more roomer than I expected so it’s spacious enough to make meals for my family of four. I would definitely recommend this product.

Great space saver!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely love this machine. I have a small kitchen, this machine replaced a separate airfryer and toaster oven. It has saved so much counter space. This one machine works better than the two I had. Toaster and air fryer are faster.

Must buy
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't let the compact size make you think it's anything less than awesome. This thing has so many different features to toast, cook, air fry and roast. We use it on bacon , bagels and anything in-between.

Excellent multi functional air fryer!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very quick, very attractive, love the counter space saving. Upside is that it's wider than most air fryers so it's easy to spread out the food. Downside is that it's shallow and only fits a small whole chicken.

Mind Blowing Machinery
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My cheap little air fryer did the job when i lived alone and managed to work for awhile when my fiancee moved in. After countless uses it just couldnt keep up and i would be standing there hoping our meal wouldnt stick and it might cook evenly this time. My early christmas present was this beast of a machine. I got to watch the most magical toasting of a grilled cheese in the history of man. You could see it brown from one end to the other and a perfectly crispy with the cheese melted I might add sandwich came out in 3 minutes. No flipping no moving it around. Just getting to sit back and enjoy the show. The settings are incredibly easy to use and although the manual might seem intimidating its pretty straight forward once you start. It looks massive and yet it folds up perfectly under my cabinets. I would still reccommend this for a small apartment even if you couldnt keep it on the counter. The amount of convenience this provides is mind blowing. I can't wait to see what else it can do. Clean up has been effortless and it even tells you when its cool enough to flip it back up. I hope it last a long time because its going to be hard to compete with this

Nice unit
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This unit does a very nice job. It heats up quickly, cooks thoroughly and so far, easy clean up. The unit takes little space on the counter when folded up. I’m still learning about it’s many features but, so far it’s working well for us.

Minor complaints
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using the Ninja Foodi FT301 for the past couple of months and I am generally happy with its results. However, I do have some complaints: A. The handle for opening the front door is oddly located on the side (left side). If the fingers of your left hand are sticky or greasy from handling the food that you're cooking, then you have to reach across and awkwardly open/close the door with your right hand. Also, once or twice when I was first getting used to the unit, by habit, I tried to close the hot door by pushing it up with my fingers at the conventional top-center position. Yeow! This is probably part of the learning curve for all new users but I see this as a safety hazard for guests and especially guests that are children (since they have skin that is more sensitive to burns). Fortunately, I rarely have small children around so it is not a deal breaker for me. A handle mounted in the traditional center position would have been much more safe and practical. B. They cheaped out on the buttons. You have to use soooo many combinations of button presses and dial knob adjustments to get the unit to do what you want. For instance, to toast a pair of frozen waffles: 1. Press Power button or the dial to turn unit on. 2. Dial the knob until the "Toast" indicator lights up (the default setting for Toast is "4 Slices, 3 Shade"). 3. Press the "Time/Slices" button to adjust the number of slices. 4. Dial the knob to "2 Slices". 5. Press the "Temp/Shade" button if you want your waffles a bit more or a bit less toasty than default. 6. Dial the knob to the value of "Shade" desired (1-7). 7. Push the dial knob in to start toasting. If the waffles did not come out toasty enough for your liking, you'll have to go through steps 5-7 again. 8. Press the Power button to turn the unit off (optional because the unit will eventually power itself down after a certain amount of idle time). I wish that the unit had a full array of function buttons (Toast, Bake, Broil, etc.) similar to a microwave oven. This would have made it that much easier to use (especially for guests since the procedures are non-intuitive) but since additional buttons cost money (25 cents/button?) they elected not to do it. Of course, once you get used to it, operating the unit becomes second nature but it's more lengthy than it could be and as I said before, not user friendly to guests who don't want to spend time reading the manual or puzzling out the button and dial combinations. C. After the unit completes its function (toasting, baking, etc.), the display says "HOT" to warn that all surfaces are currently hot. That's a good safety feature. What I don't like is that the fan continues to run, to actively cool the unit down until it's safe to "FLIP" the unit up for space saving. Since my cabinets are too low to allow the unit to be flipped up, I do not need this feature. While running the fan does not eat as much power as running the heating elements, it still uses up electricity, increasing the unit's carbon footprint. I was perfectly happy with the way my old toaster oven passively cooled itself. They should have included a way to disable active cooling.
