It easily wears and cracks after folding it up several times between my uses in the last month. Then, my kitty thought it was like licorice, or a worm. and bit into it very easily madking a couple of teeth punctures. It's pretty thin. A hard coating or a layer of something like, a wire protector would benefit this product greatly to keep from linking and wearing out quickly. Also, it would keep pets less interested in it if it looked less tempting as it is so flexibly thin and shiny.
