For a sports enthusiast using one of the top streaming devices, this service might be nirvana. I've been using it with a Chromecast and an iPad and it is a less than perfect solution. I tried using a Samsung phone as the control device and it was awful! While the iPad does work, the Fubo interface has been buggy, presenting numerous annoying glitches almost every time I've employed it. The picture it records is excellent. And it does record what it is supposed to - at least most of the time. But the developers have done some truly stupid things: 1) when you finish watching a recorded show, instead of giving you the most logical choice - namely, deleting the show - it asks if you want to play it again.....nothing else. To delete it, I have to swipe the scroll bar to the end, go to My Stuff --> Manage Recordings --> put a check mark in to delete the show. But that won't delete the show! It will hang on the lower scroll bar until you either play another recording or show or close the app. And, if you close the app, you'd better first stop casting, because I have closed the app without stopping the casting.....and the damned thing turned my TV back on after I had turned it off! 2) If you make the mistake of pausing a show, on numerous occasions, I found that when I started watching again, I could not get the scroll bar to appear. If you like watching ads, that may not bother you; I hate them and hate this bug! 3) If number 2 problem occurs, you may find it hard to bring up the menus to stop the program. And sometimes if you do, it starts from the beginning. I learned to be aware of how far into a show I was before tampering with it in case this happened. 4) And, speaking of menus, at times it was only possible to get back to the menus after closing the app and reopening it. As I said, the interface is annoyingly buggy. All that being said, I haven't used it with a Roku, Apple TV or FireStick, which may greatly enhance the viewing experience. A friend of mine has a newer smart TV with the Fubo App native and seems to love the service, so keep that in mind. I will be trying YouTube TV and maybe Hulu if YouTube seems deficient. If neither of those can sufficiently replace the much more expensive cable experience I had become used to, I will get one of the better streaming devices and give Fubo another try with that. In closing, I would NOT recommend Fubo with a Chromecast unless you have a lot more patience than I do for bugs in the app.
