I got this for work to update programs that I use to get fault codes of ECM and sometimes the updates require this connection

This formatted my new laptop to get rid of the partitions. Well, this came in clutch since the windows boot usb didn't.

My laptop doesn’t have an Ethernet port, and for some testing purposes I needed it to be hard wired to my router. The problem was solved with this little beauty!! Great item!

On that laptop the device works perfectly. On another laptop, the connection is up and down like a Jack Russel Terrier. YMMV, but at least it was one of the less expensive devices of its type and available the same day I needed it.

The built in network adapter is a 10/100 and is limited but this lets me stream video at my full speed potential.

This adapter allowed him to connect from the USB port to the modem/router, although it required an Ethernet cable, which we had. Adapter worked fine!
