Yes soundbar is hooked to arc and tv speakers are set to off in settings. My other fire tv works fine with a majestic soundbar put on same settings.

For some reason the tv keeps disconnecting from my internet and shows no internet available. I think it is just a fluke with this tv. I have a smaller sized fire tv and no problems.

The picture is good and the sound is ok, butgetting to the desired input can be a challenge. Whenever the tv is turned on, it goes right to the home page with all the amazon fire tv stuff. Youthen have to go through a litany of contortions to get to the inputs so it can be changed. I was not able to find anything that would make the tv go directly to the desired input when it is turned on. This got old really fast. Ended up getting an LG. It goes right to the to tv programming.

I haven't been able to compare it to the typical HD model but the price difference was insignificant. So far the only thing I don't like is that it doesn't seem to have previous channel capability. Meaning a button to toggle between the current channel and what ever you had been watching previously.
