Now days, it seems you have to have an education in electronics to get one working. It was a problem with this one. How ever, once my son in law got it going for me, I love.

Plugged in my upscaler for the older consoles to convert to hdmi and works well. The sound from the built in speakers is a bit cheap and distorted if you go too loud, but through the earphone port on the back I plugged in a good pair of desktop speakers put them at full volume and I can adjust the volume with the remote. Now the TV sounds great. I like that it has RCA on the back, as I was able to plug in my playstation 1 without having to do anything special.

Then put it back in box for a back up. The price was excellent. Only gave 4 stars since I can't say how long it will last.
