I will be taking it to college and I find it very helpful eith the diffenernt fan setting so I can set it to silent while in classes on simple tasks.

It was really nice to know i could make it go silent mode and it is a great gaming laptop. I am able to play at ultra graphics and stream in high graphics. Recommended

Pretty sure its one of, if not the best "deal" right now for a 12th gen i9 and 3070ti. Performance has been really good. I added a 2 TB 980 Pro for space since the included SSD is closer to gen 3 speeds. If I wanted to be picky I think I would give it 4 stars, but it really is a great laptop, lots of power for the size. I don't think you would be disappointed buying it.

Sales show up all the time and I did not miss out on this one. Great product at a great price!

The first two laptops of this model, I had to return. The first one had a bad screen. The second one, I think the charger was not charging the laptop. After all this, the 3rd laptop of this model was having bad FPS drops, with extreme heat which made my left hand fingers very uncomfortable. Sent it in for repairs, got the second replacement, after a week later my screen turn black. I then turn this one in, to get another replacement. Asus finally nailed it on the 3rd laptop replacement. This is not to say as well, the dept for laptop customer support is horrible for responds, a lot of support members seem to take your calls very lightly etc. I do not recommend, Asus laptops. Till their customer support changes in the laptop dept, and have better laptops that do not over heat.

Gaming and School Laptop

I convinced my parents to let me get this for both college and gaming and it is perfect. Works extremely well for both and runs very fast. It has a beautiful display and is easily transportable.

I ended up getting the newest one because of the frame generation option. This one doesn't have that option, but regardless. It is a beast.

The temperature no matter what is way too hot. You wouldn't be able to use it on your lap and the keys get so hot at the top it's concerning. The hot air blows right at the very nice screen and I'm sure over time this will ruin the screen. Overall, I'm going to get a new laptop. The concern of the heat and overpriced $$ is not worth it.

It can get a little loud at times and the vents being pointed at the screen is a very odd configuration but since they are trying to get the laptop thin it makes some sense. All and all, this laptop was worth the money (I got it on sale) and I have no regrets with the purchase!
