Honestly was looking for a school computer and also a gaming computer because let’s be honest I like playing video games on my downtime.This laptop does just that and it’s super fast and can multitask. It does run out of battery faster if you’re playing Roblox or sims 4. But overall I am happy with my purchase!

Great machine, runs games smoothly, and very lightweight.

Pretty good laptop. I am definitely not a techie, but I appreciate it. It does heat up quickly, but dissapates heat rather well especially when elevated off the desk. Before my laptop stand and cooling pad combo arrived, I stood it up on a wooden stand I fashioned, and had a regular fan blow across it- chilly on the hands but worked well. My benchmark for this laptop would probably be running Horizon Zero Dawn. The only issue is maybe spring for more graphics memory: It ran low rather quickly. Still let me finish the game, with no issues.

I was looking for a laptop to replace my old ASUS that completely crashed on me and this one here can not be beat! Playing with it for the amount of time that I have owned, I can confidently say that this laptop is going to last me a good while. It super fast, and super responsive, it does everything I ask of it with no hiccups. It is awesome!

Solid laptop for big games on medium settings. Should also add that dust can easily get into the laptop. Buy on sale.

This laptop was giving problem from the begining. It would get hot quickly and the motherboard had to be replaced and recently wifi stopped working and Geeksquad determined the laptop has big issues so they gave me a refund. I was lucky to have bought the Geeksquad protection plan as the laptop had to be replaced and I got back the full price I paid for the laptop! The services overall has been great

I’ve been using this as my secondary machine for roadtrips and vacations and it works amazingly! More than powerful enough for indie games and modern games at medium settings. The display is also very good, although not as mind blowing as my 14” MacBook Pro or the new model.

I went through a 2021 X13, which was pretty awesome, but ended up returning it and picking this 2022 G14 up when the 6900HS came out. It is my daily driver for work now and extremely fast and stable for development work. I like the fit and finish. Screen is very bright and a matte 16x10 ratio which is ideal for software development. I can't comment too much about its use as a gaming machine as I have almost exclusively used the mux switch to completely disable the dedicated GPU and am using the integrated all the time for battery life purposes. I do wish battery life was a little longer, but it meets my needs. It's no M1 based MacBook though for lasting through the day. However I'm usually rocking 100% brightness during the day so that zaps it pretty good. I do like that you can pull almost full processor performance for compiling and dev work while on battery. I've experienced no throttling. A huge plus is the machine can be run off 100W USB-C power delivery adapters and docks easily. That is a must for a daily driver for me, even though it is a "gaming" machine. All in all, I'm very happy with the latest Ryzen and package in general. It's good docked, it's decent mobile on battery, and has plenty of power for the day to day.

great computer, needed a new computer and this wasn't what I thought I wanted, but the combination of of SSD size, 16GB memory and the sound card it was just the right things I needed, I don't game on it, I do a lot of photo and video editing and couldn't be happier.

Only issue is battery drops unless you put everything in saving mode … but great and powerful little machine feels great keyboard awesome

I returned my purchase based on these criteria: 1. The surface of the laptop (palm rest) got uncomfortable after about 15 minutes in-game. 2. The trackpad was very loose. 3. At least 1/2 a dozen BSODs in a row after updating drivers. 4. Extremely prevalent coil whine under low-medium load. Why would I give it 3 stars? I would say it's more like 2.5 stars, BUT maybe if you got something with a tighter trackpad and no/less coil whine it would be worth keeping. It's a sleek and solid machine that has an excellent and crisp display. The keyboard is great the trackpad is silky smooth, but this is a "V1" type of hardware configuration and drivers are definitely lacking (usual AMD stuff). Some games ran ok for the most part, but Elden Ring wouldn't even break 40 FPS on 1080p at medium settings. Super low GPU utilization. Want this thing? Wait for some driver maturity and roll the dice on a non-faulty trackpad unit. I can't handle the palm rest heat and coil whine though, this will be a hard pass for me.
