    Graphics Card failure on arrival

    As I was setting up my brand new G14, these random bars just popped up on my screen, signaling a graphics card failure. It was brand. new. I reinstalled windows a few times and did the good old restart trick but all to no avail. The lines on the screen were just permanently burned in. Returned it a few days later to get something else. Asus has to learn how to properly QC their laptops.

    Double-typing issue

    After two weeks, ever several words the keyboard was double-typing. Avoid this laptop. Spend more money on a better one.

    Turning it on was a bit of a problem. The first few minutes of it being powered, it loaded for a couple of minutes randomly when I tried opening an application.

    My laptop's battery percentage shows only 60% battery even though I have it plugged in. I don’t know why

    Dead pixel issues

    After 1 month and 2 weeks I know have a line of dead pixels at the top of my screen. Not happy about that. Otherwise the laptop for the most part works pretty well. There are issues here and there with the screen not turning on when first booting up in the morning (maybe 1 out of 10 times) but a simple hard reboot fixes it. Going to head to Best Buy and see if they can do anything for me. Maybe sign up for total tech membership since I’m within the 60 days…

    If I could give it a zero, I would. Purchased an open box item, but excellent condition as per Best Buy, a day after the return warranty expired, it started disconnecting from the Internet on its own, shutting down on its own, blue screening, which I’ve never seen before computer turns off, doesn’t wanna turn back on.

    Had many issues, Best Buy sent it to ASUS service center for me a few times, but it comes back not fixed. Luckily the Best Buy geek squad is good and even checked it for me and even confirm it wasn’t fixed. Might be a common issue with this laptop for ASUS to not beable to fix their own devices.

    Cannot get the wifi to work more than 10 feet from the router. Reinstalled drivers. Played with settings. Still doesn’t work. Shouldn’t have this many issues for a brand new laptop. Will be returning. Other than that I love it. Love the looks and weight and size and it can run the games I want.
