It was clear and was immersive with what I was watching. Biggest gripe I have is the bass is nearly non-existent. Not bad if you can get this unit under $200.

Geek squad said it a communication problem in the e-arc software, that replacing it may not solve the issue. Hopefully a software update in the near future will fix this issue.

I thought that, being its an LG bar with an LG TV, I'll get the best performance possible. Nope. I tweaked the setting about a thousand different ways, but just couldn't coax out a sound I was happy with. The low mids were lacking. The center channel was strong, but it never projected anything to the sides like my Polk S2 does. The surround effect is cheesy and also had to get jogged up and down without. All in all, I never felt truly immersed. I felt like I was constantly battling the bar to improve speech intelligibility and have a natural sound and it simply wouldn't deliver. I replaced it with a Polk Signa S2 and have zero regrets.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.has very little bass even with the setting maxed out. replaced a 3.1.1 with this and noticed no real difference in quality except a lack of depth on this set. save the money and go with the 3.1. i also dislike how it uses earc as about 2/3 of the time i have to go into the settings of the tv and tell it to use the soundbar instead of tv speakers. why bother with any kind of arc if it rarely can even detect it? the main reason this got as high as a 3 is the wireless rear speakers. they transmit MOST of the audio which is something i like as i have a weird setup and that is fantastic at least
