    works perfectly as advertised. The Geek squad installed two hard drives from two old 1011 MacBook Pro's. Except for hd's all else into trash cans . I use the hardrivesw now as external hard drives and they work perfectly.

    This unit makes it easy to turn an internal 2.5" SATA laptop hard drive into an external drive. USB-C connection (cable and USB-A adapter included) makes connecting to desktops, laptops, tablets and Android smartphones easy.

    It does what I needed it to do. I was able to remove a hard drive and install it in this case to allow me to transfer the documents to another computer.

    This case will work nicely with an internal SATA drive that contains data you must recover. Its toolless design is easy to use, and it has an adapter to convert TYPC to USB 3.0, making it quite versatile.

    Worked immediately upon connection and was a life saver because my external hard drive's connection went bad and needed this immediately to save my data and it worked

    I needed a case to do do a large backup quickly if over 1.5 TB. Easily installed the SSD drive and backed up the data for the project that was needed.

    Works perfectly with any 3.5" or 2.5" SATA drive. I have a 2.5" 1TB and 3.5" 1TB SATA drives and both work at the same time as two unique drives to the attached computer.

    Worked with all 3 hard drives I tested it with. Very sturdy. USB-C to USB-A adapter and spacer pads were a nice bonus. A little expensive, but worth it.
